The Challenge

Millions of children are waiting for a chance.

Across underserved communities in Northern Nigeria, orphaned children and vulnerable girls face overlapping barriers to education, welfare and opportunity — barriers that compound each other, quietly, for years.

  • Loss of parental careOrphaned children often lose not just guardianship, but stability, advocacy and continuity of schooling.
  • Poverty & economic hardshipBasic needs compete directly with school fees, materials and time — and basic needs usually win.
  • Barriers specific to the girl-childCultural expectations, early marriage risk and domestic responsibility disproportionately push girls out of the classroom.
  • Insecurity & lack of infrastructureIn communities with too few schools and too little protection, exclusion becomes the default, not the exception.

Our Four Strategic Pillars

Where our work is focused.

Every programme the Foundation runs sits within one of four strategic focus areas, developed to address the full picture of a child's needs — not just the classroom.

Who We Serve

Every programme centers on a child.

Our Future

A Place Designed For Possibility.

The Foundation's Strategic Plan proposes a purpose-built Centre — developed on an identified site in Alhazawa — bringing education, skills training and institutional coordination under one roof. This is a development vision, phased in line with available resources and strategic priorities; it has not yet been constructed.
